Published submissions

As part of the engagement phase, people were invited to make written submissions. 528 individuals and 38 organisations provided responses representing a wide range of views from community organisations, recreational clubs, smaller tourism operators, tourism industry representatives, and peak bodies.

316 of the 528 individual submissions were provided through a third-party campaign, which provided a template response.

Accessibility of submissions

The Government recognises that not all individuals or groups are equally placed to access and understand information. We are therefore committed to ensuring Government information is accessible and easily understood by people with diverse communication needs

We requested that where possible, submissions are in plain English and provided in a format such as Microsoft Word or equivalent. The Government cannot however take responsibility for the accessibility of documents provided by third parties.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO NOTE

Individual's names and the names of organisations are published unless it was requested otherwise.

In the absence of a clear indication that a submission is intended to be treated as confidential (or parts of the submission), the Department has treated the submission as public.

Copyright in submissions remains with the author(s), not with the Tasmanian Government. The Department has not published, in whole or in part, submissions containing defamatory or offensive material. If submissions included information that could enable the identification of other individuals, then either all or parts of the submission were not published.
